The Lily

Yesterday a lady I have had the pleasure to meet recently and  become friends with, dropped around to my house with a Christmas gift for me, a single lily that she has grown.  Apparently each year she hands a lily to some of her friends and I got on the list this year.  It was completely closed when it was delivered and she has told me that it will open fully in a day or so and that it is a beautiful white lily that sometimes glows in the dark at night.

Here are some photos of it so far:  just starting to open this morning then later today as it is continuing to open.  I'll post more as it changes.
