(When is a fantasy not a fantasy....well how about when it's almost a shaggy dog story without the egregious pun that is de rigueur for shaggy dog punch lines.) Del Rey is an accomplished science fiction/fantasy writer with a sense of humor sufficiently warped to appeal to the most staid of our readers.
