A holden is the Aussie icon vehicle and is made by GM Australia .. a "ute" is a utility vehicle, you would possibly call a pickup? See the pic at the top for reference

A swaggie is a swagman or "hobo" - the swagman carries a "swag" on his back and moves from town to town and lives out under the stars. You might have heard of the jolly swagman who sat by a billabong under the shade of a coolibar tree, and he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled "you'll come a waltzing Matilda with me" ... He stole a sheep and got caught.

 

Referring to the Holden Ute, as I said earlier Holden is made by GM Australia and is the iconic Australian vehicle. I believe that what we call the Holden Monaro (sporty sedan) is exported to the USA and sold under the Pontiac GTO badge.
