December 22: "The Gift of the Magi" by O. Henry

Nan suggested this story, and it took me a while to confirm that we had not yet discussed it. It is familiar to many of us (as I recall it was study material in High School) but it is certainly well worth rereading and discussion.

 

This will be the last reader's corner chat for 2012 since many of us will be involved in holiday travel or in hosting family reunions, holiday parties, or other "real life" activities. I hope you all can participate. And for a change Koach has been tasked with preparing a large bowl of vitual Wasail and I am bringing a large virtual fruit cake that has only been regifted twice. And, of course, new members are still welcome, so bring your friends.
