Meatballs 1 lb. lean ground beef. 1 cup soft bread crumbs 1 egg, slightly beaten 2 tablespooons minced onion 2 tablespoons milk 1 cloveof garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon salt dash of pepper 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Form meat mixture into 40 meatballs using a rounded teaspoon for each. Brown meatballs lightly in oil. Cover; cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Drain fat Sauce 2/3 cup chili sauce (I use Heinz) 2/3 cup red currant or grape jelly Combine chili sauce and jelly. Pour over meatballs. Heat, stiring until jelly is melted. Simmer for 10-12 minutes until sauce is thickens; baste occasionally.
