Henry Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 The sudden demise of Hewlett-Packard Co's WebOS TouchPad after just seven weeks on shelves was a reminder of how tech giants have failed so far to take a bite out of Apple Inc's iPad.
Pancake Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Actually, Hewlett-Packard's WebOS is pretty useless altogether. If anything, it had a novelty concept to it - ability to keep all of your data stored on a cloud-like environment that your phone and tablet can use. Personally, iPad isn't really all that great (yea, yea - I know you're going to retort back to me being an Apple hater). Motorola's tablets are pretty nice, as are Asus' range of tablets. Considering they were the first to use non-WiFi technology - I think they're doing just fine. I know more people with a Xoom than an iPad (which isn't objective - but just a personal view). Edit: Shouldn't this be in a different category of forums... ? Just wondering.
