I just want to give a shout out to Stormy for running this week's Readers' Corner. (I would have commented on the posting of the story assignment but comments were stopped.) Despite the small group this week, I enjoyed the chat. Running the chat is a big job and Smiley hits a home run every time. It was nice to see a second person able to fill the role. Thanks to both Smiley and Stormy for keeping Readers' going on. I love this weekly chat session and look forward to the read and the chat too. The gathering for the chat is it's own reward. I just read: "The Bishops Beggar" by Stephen Vincent Benét and loved it. I think this is one of my favorite short stories that Readers' Corner has been assigned so far. It certainly ranks among one of my personal favorite short stories I have read so far in general. Thank you Smiley! See you later tonight to discuss it
